Dr. Barnes is Chief of the Department of Orthopedics at Pocono Health Systems, he is the Vice President of the Monroe County Medical Society, board member of the Pennsylvania Orthopedic Society and a member of the Pennsylvania Medical Society.
A graduate of Cornell University Medical College, Dr. Barnes completed his internship and Residency in Orthopedic Surgery at the New Jersey Medical School University, a level 1 Trauma Center. He served as Chief Resident in Orthopedic Surgery at the University. Dr. Barnes is Board Certified and is on active staff at Pocono Medical Center. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
